I am a medical technologist / microbiologist turned health coach, certified at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
I would love to help you reduce inflammation and find peace of mind when it comes to your health.
I also love gardening and find that weeding helps me solve all of mine and the world’s problems.
First though, I’m here to tell you a short story about food and its life-changing effect on my mood.
A decade ago, in what seems like another life, I was single parenting my two teenagers while suffering from fatigue, anxiety, brain fog, and chronic constipation. Plus, I was on multiple medications.
Through the grapevine, I heard about a local naturopath. As I’d always been interested in alternative medicine, I decided to visit and to try her elimination diet protocol.
To my complete surprise, I not only lost weight, but my mood improved dramatically.
Fast forward to today and I am healthy, happy, and full of vitality. I I have let my psychiatrist go and no longer have a diagnosis. I feel like a completely different person.
Once I found healing, I felt so much better, but I was also outraged.
Why had no one ever told me about the connection between nutrition, depression, and anxiety?
I came across Dr. Kelly Brogan, a holistic psychiatrist who radically changed the way I think of antidepressants. I read her books and followed her Vital Mind Reset protocol, which provided an energy boost, relaxed my fears, balanced my mood, restored my health and showed me how to live naturally.
My passion for this new way of life never dwindled, so I pursued rigorous training in integrative nutrition in order to help others.
Now, as a Certified Integrative Nutritional Health Coach, I help others find the root causes of their depression and anxiety, so they can feel like themselves again.
And because I work virtually, I’m able to help people all over the world.
Remember…nothing is “all in your head” — your physical health is completely intertwined with your mental health, and nutrition is a gateway to enable healing.

I trained, and worked for decades, as a medical technologist, during which time I performed all manner of clinical tests, which provided me with a wealth of knowledge behind the science of disease.
I then decided to pursue rigorous studies in health and nutrition since my own physical health and mental well-being dramatically improved (I’m talking a 180-degree turn) only once I removed toxic and inflammatory foods from my diet and implemented all the lifestyle changes I can’t wait to share with you!

Meet me in the garden…
I love meeting clients outdoors in my community garden plots, where I have a bench shaded with an umbrella. We can savor the freshly picked cherry tomatoes and I can teach you about composting.
I truly love planting, watering, weeding and harvesting organically grown produce, which includes tomatoes, peppers, tomatillos, broccoli, lettuce, carrots, onions, beans, squash, beets, and potatoes!
The part that is most fun for me though is harvesting. I especially love watching children who have never harvested potatoes before, dig down with a fork and find ‘the gold’!
