This privacy policy is for bevmackenzie.com and governs the privacy of its users.

As a Health & Wellness Entrepreneur, I’m committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to my website, those who engage with me on social media, and those who sign up to join my mailing list to receive regular emails.

In this Privacy Policy, I’ve set out detailed information about when and why I might collect some of your personal information and what I will and will not do with that data.

Email Addresses

If you sign up for my mailing list you’re entrusting me with your email address. I want to assure you that I will never share your address with anyone else. I will never sell it, trade it or swap lists with anyone else. I never sign anyone up myself without their written permission, and you can always unsubscribe at any time by clicking on one of the links at the bottom of any of my emails, no questions asked.

The email service I use is called MailChimp, and you can read their privacy policy here. MailChimp holds a list of my readers’ email addresses for me to enable me to send out my newsletters to everyone all in one go. It also lets me know if someone has opened an email, or if they have clicked on a link contained in that email. That helps me to know if you’re finding my emails and blog posts helpful and interesting. MailChimp will never pass your email address on to any third party.

Website Cookies

As is standard practice, this website uses cookies to improve the experience of the user when browsing. Cookies are small files saved to the user’s hard drive. On your first visit to this website, you will have been notified of this and asked to allow or disallow the use of cookies. If at a later date you wish to deny the use of cookies from this website, you can take the necessary steps within your web browser’s security settings.

Google Analytics

When someone visits my website, bevmackenzie.com, I use a third-party service called Google Analytics to collect standard information about that visitor’s behaviour patterns. It helps me to know which pages and which blog posts are most popular, which country my readers are based in, what time of day people prefer to log on, whether readers are one-off visitors or regular readers, and so on. All this information helps me to improve the service I provide and make my website more interesting and accessible for you all. However, please be assured that all data collected in this way is completely anonymous. Google does not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the website.

Access to Your Personal Information

Under the European GDPR laws, you are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information I hold for you. If you would like to do so, please contact me here.

Changes to this Privacy Notice.

I will review this privacy policy on a yearly basis, or sooner if any changes, such as email providers, are made. This policy was last updated on September 2nd 2021.
